Emerging Technology Project Part 1
High-Speed Materials Discovery
This article was about finding different types of minerals for batteries rather than the old lithium-ion phosphate batteries. It stated that lithium cobalt phosphate boost energy density by three times more than the lithium-ion phosphate batteries. They also built a machine called bobcat that can test over 3,000 combinations of different minerals each week to find the best combination. This can lead to more energy being stored in a single battery in the future. Once they isolate the best combination we could have batteries storing more than 100 times what the original batter can hold. Even though that’s a big maybe, but if you think about it just 100 years earlier we just built an airplane. Back in 2009 we were working on a personal assistance helper. Now we have SIRI in all of our iPhones. Technology has come so far.

Online EXP. Overview.
In my online exp. class we learned a lot about the importance of technology. If we did not have technology then we probably be dead on the ground twitching. Think about how fast technology can grow into something even better. Just in the past 5 years we went from flip phones to smart phones that can do about anything computer related. Probably we will have holographic cell phone you can use at the bottom of the ocean. Technology has gone far. now in school we use computers in almost every class and at home we a have gaming systems and computers. The stuff we learned in this class will help us use more programs on the internet. In all i think that a podcast is a great learning tool. You can say things and record them on the computer and tell the kids to go one website and boom. Easy day. All the tools we learn in this class we will probably use in real life. Avatars are the funnest things we did in that class. I was that fund of wikis but they where informative well that's all i have to say. Live long and prosper. Oh wait i forgot to talk about my friend i meet. His blog will be in the link at the bottom.

Playstation 4: Coping The Wii U?
The PlayStation 4 was announced the other day. But guess what, it has touch screen capabilities. Just like the Wii U. Microsoft came up with something like this called the smart glass app. where your iPhone can be a tablet for your Xbox. This where all released after the Wii U. The Wii U in my opinion is a home DS console. The PlayStation 4 will have no backwards compatability. This is stupid because people will probably sell there ps3 to by the ps4. We have not seen the console yet just the controller. Live long and prosper.

The web site www.voki.com is a web site where you can make your own avatar. You can also put audio in it if you want. I find it very easy to use. The only hard part is putting audio in it. But other than that it is pretty easy. The other web site I was on was www.blabberize.com. This web site lets you take a picture and make the person talk. This web site is a very weird web site to use. You have to use audacity to input the sound. I prefer to use voki over blabberize. That's all i have to say. Live long and prosper.

Cyberbully: The Movie Thoughts
First off if you don't know the movie Cyberbully it is an ABC family original movie based of cyber bulling. Henceforth the name cyber bully. This movie is very cheesy, the girl who is getting bulled makes up with the person who bulled her in 12 second's. The movie does, however, have a lot of truth to it, any one can get bulled online. The movie does show a good idea of what people who get bullied online fell like. I myself was bullied online on Facebook. What I did was reported the crime and showed them the chat screen and the other kid got in trouble for his actions. So this move does have some real life aspects. But, in the movie no one got in trouble. Live long and prosper

Netiquette : Things You Need To Know
Netiquette is an interesting word. It's a combination of Network and etiquette. So, henceforth Netiquette. Netiquette is defined as unspoken rules for the internet. For example, no making fun of people etc. Following the netiquette rules will give you what you need to know to be a kind and courteous person online. These rules will effect everyone online and like I say a small thing can make a big difference. So if you are nice to someone they will be nice to someone and so on. Live long And prosper.

Music Downloading: Thing You Need To Know
I don't really listen to music, but apparently there is a lot of illegal music downloads all around the world. Ever since Napster shut down there have been a lot of sites just like it, giving free music away from popular song artists. The way I look at it is that, you wouldn't steal from a store, but it is okay to steal from people online. Think about that for a while. I suggest that you use sites such as iTunes, eBay, and Amazon to get your music. If the police find out that you downloaded music illegally that you will have to pay a hefty fine and maybe go to jail. So think before you download things online. The songs my also have a virus and can destroy your computer. Live long and prosper.

Copyright Case: Smosh
The internet icons "Smosh" posted a video on YouTube of a Pokemon parody video when YouTube was just created. It was the 4 most popular video on YouTube. The video had over 24 million. Then the Shogakukan Production Co. gave Smosh a DMCA notice then the video was removed from YouTube. This video was a parody plane and simple. Parody's are aloud under copyright law. The company thought that it had to much of there song in it so they gave them that notice. The video was an over-the-top music parody. I think that this is outrageous . If the video was not popular no one would care. Well that's all i have for ya. Live long and prosper.

Romania Project Review
Romania was an interesting country and has a very graphic
history. I loved the project I did on it in my online a class. It was an easy
project all we had to do is make a power point on our country that we picked. The project was simple, it was not hard, but
did have some difficult parts. I learned a lot about my country, I did not
learn one thing, but my different things like Vlad the Impaler killed over
5,000 people in one year. My strong
point in the project was the power point in self. The thing is though I probably
put too much history in the project. My
weak point was probably pronouncing the language. Whenever I can’t finish a
word I make a weird sound, I kind of runs in the family. If I could say
anything to the teacher is give the class maybe two extra days, but over all
this was a good project so you should do it again. Live long and prosper.

Technology News: The Razer Blade
A new laptop is in the making. A laptop just for gamers. It’s the new Razor Blade. With a quad-core processor (i7-3632QM) it can play any game. With a high-end NVidia GeForce GXT 660M and 8GB of RAM this computer is fast. If you are stuck on a level, no problem with the screen on the keyboard you can look up a walkthrough and get the info you need. But this fancy computer comes at a hefty some $2,500. Sorry did not mean to get your hopes up. Ya, this price is outrageous. The original blade was $600. A big price incline don’t you think. Well that’s all I have for ya guys. Live long and prosper.
