Copyright Case: Smosh
The internet icons "Smosh" posted a video on YouTube of a Pokemon parody video when YouTube was just created. It was the 4 most popular video on YouTube. The video had over 24 million. Then the Shogakukan Production Co. gave Smosh a DMCA notice then the video was removed from YouTube. This video was a parody plane and simple. Parody's are aloud under copyright law. The company thought that it had to much of there song in it so they gave them that notice. The video was an over-the-top music parody. I think that this is outrageous . If the video was not popular no one would care. Well that's all i have for ya. Live long and prosper.
